design work

The beginning design phase, which will evolve into working and permit-approved design documentation, is a back and forth process between the client and the designer.

The next step is for the designer to take the information gleaned from the client, the as-built plans for the project and begin preliminary design work in 2 and 3 dimensions. This beginning design phase, is a back and forth process between the client and the designer, with each design meeting resulting in some editing, changes, and fine tuning of the client’s designed space and the products specified therein. The goal is to get exactly what the client wants on paper so that the design can be sent out to bid to contractors, tradesmen and fabricators, and to ensure the project fits within the desired budget and time constraints.
