about

bespoke design / darra bishop

Darra Bishop, the child of an electrical engineer and an artist, was born to design daringly. Coming of age between Pittsburgh and Paris, she was exposed to extraordinary visions of the traditional, the classic and the avant-garde.

Passionate for all things mod and modern, Darra Bishop invents spaces that tell stories. Her tailored environments come from an intimate knowledge and understanding of her client’s needs and desires. Darra’s devotion to the field extends beyond her design practice. She is the Editor-in-Chief of LA Design Magazine – the magazine for the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, where she also serves on the board as Director-at-Large. She received her Masters of Interior Architecture from UCLA/Cal Poly Pomona.
